This is a writ of error to review a judgment dated July 12, 1961, convicting the plaintiff in error (hereinafter defendant)
of a violation of sec. 943.10 (1) (a), Stats. (burglary). Trial was by jury, and the defendant Hansen was sentenced by the
court to an indeterminate term of not more than nine years in the state prison at Waupun. The defendant's sole contention is that his conviction should be reversed and the charge against him dismissed because he
was denied his constitutional right to a speedy trial.
